Affirmation is one of the most important elements of positive thinking. To affirm means to make firm. An affirmation is a strong, positive statement that some thing is already so. It is a way of making firm that which you are thinking.
This practice allows us to begin replacing negative mind chatter with more positive ideas and concepts. It is a powerful technique which in a short time can completely transform our attitudes and expectations about life, and there by change what we create for ourselves. An Affirmation can be any positive statement. It can be general or specific.
