I want to learn to like
What's looking back at me
I want to live without excuses
Live a life that is carefree.

I want to learn to love
Each and everything
Show compassion and kindness
It's joy I want to bring.

I want to learn to give
Always from my heart
Do what's not expected
Leave an impression, leave a mark.

I want to learn to extend a hand
Help those who are in need
Give my time willingly
Prune my inner seed.

Then when I look into the mirror
I'll be happy with what I see
I won't wonder what's looking back
I'll know this person looking at me.
